Doris Geraldi. A artista em movimento.​

Música. Corpo. Movimento. As mãos da artista plástica Doris Geraldi criam formas e transformam o bronze, a resina, ou a resimármore em peças leves, gestuais. Ora o corpo feminino, ora as figuras mitológicas, nascem do talento e da vontade da escultora e ceramista em mostrar ao mundo que a arte tem vida. E, viva, esta arte já foi exibida em São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Miami, Nova York e Berlin.​

Doris Geraldi, autodidata nascida em Uberlândia, no Triângulo Mineiro, encanta com suas ações e obras.​

Da arte esculpida, para o compromisso da arte, Doris também semeia educação e cultura. No Rio de Janeiro, onde vive, criou a escola de ballet clássico Corpo Livre, que proporcionou, durante três décadas, liberdade e formação para numerosos bailarinos.

 

​Esculpindo a arte do bem-querer, desejando ajudar a população carente, fundou o Projeto Social Eflorescer. Hoje, 300 crianças e adolescentes descobrem no Ballet, Jazz, Sapateado, Coral, Violão, Flauta e no Teatro a magia do ser humano e do bem-estar social.

Doris Geraldi. An artist on the move!

 

Music. Body. Movement. The hands of plastic artist Doris Geraldi create shapes and transform bronze, resin, or resin marble into light, gestural pieces. Works ranging from female body shapes to mythological figures are born out of the talent and will of this sculptor and ceramist to show to the world that art has a life of its own. And, alive, this art has already been exhibited in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Miami, New York and Berlin.

 

Doris Geraldi, self-taught artist, born in Uberlândia, in the Triângulo Mineiro, enchants viewers  with her works of art and so do her actions.

 

From sculptured art up to the commitment to art, Doris also sows seeds of education and culture. In Rio de Janeiro, where she lives, she created the classical ballet school Corpo Livre, which provided, for three decades, freedom and training to numerous ballet dancers.

 

'Sculpting' the art of well-wishing, with a burning desire to help the needy population, Doris founded the Eflorescer Social Project. Today, 300 children and teenagers discover in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Choir, Guitar, Flute and Theater the magic of human beings and social well-being.
